Tor Fenwick

Tor is an accomplished international dressage rider with a career that began at just 4 years old and a passion for dressage that took hold at 12. She honed her skills through The Pony Club and BYRDS systems, and over the years, has developed a strong focus on training young horses through the levels.

Her competitive career boasts numerous achievements, including being crowned Junior Derby Champion in 2010 and Winter Regional Champion in 2012. In 2016, she placed 3rd at the Small Tour Championships, and the following year marked her international Small Tour debut with Don Oro and her Grand Prix debut aboard Urlando. She has competed at prestigious international events, such as the Waregem CDI*** in Belgium in 2018, where she earned top-ten placings with Russki, and the Keysoe CDI*** in 2019, where she secured top-five placings with Renoir. More recently, Tor won the International 6-year-old division in 2023 and finished 9th in the BD Young Horse Championships the same year.

Tor’s training is rooted in classical riding and shaped by her work with top trainers such as Isobel Wessels, Charlotte Dujardin & Nicky Barrett with whom she still trains with today. Her feel is second to none and has played a key role in her accomplishments, allowing her to develop strong, well-rounded horses and partnerships that consistently perform at the highest levels.

In addition to her riding career, Tor is also a dedicated coach, helping riders of all levels—from adult amateurs to upper-level professionals—reach their potential. She enjoys working on the basics, setting her students up for long-term success, and finds it incredibly rewarding to support each horse and rider combination on their unique journey.
